Ultherapy, HIFU and Fotona are all popular treatments for ageing skin, offering a natural lifting effect without surgery. But what are the differences between these treatments, and why did we choose Fotona at SKINSIS Clinic?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While HIFU and Ultherapy primarily focus on tightening one specific tissue layer, Fotona 4D\/5D<\/strong> works on multiple layers of the skin in a single treatment. This means we can improve not only skin firmness and lifting, but also overall skin quality, texture and rejuvenation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HIFU<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) uses ultrasound waves to heat a specific deep layer of the skin. This controlled heating stimulates tissue tightening and helps improve skin laxity, creating a lifting effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, HIFU only targets one tissue depth and does not treat the surface of the skin or multiple skin layers at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultherapy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ultherapy works in a similar way to HIFU but includes ultrasound imaging. This allows the practitioner to visualise the tissue layers during treatment for greater precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like HIFU, Ultherapy focuses on one tissue layer and does not improve the skin surface or address multiple layers simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fotona 4D\/5D<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fotona works differently. Using two advanced laser technologies, it treats the skin from the deepest layers to the surface in one comprehensive treatment session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
